Riccardo Santeramo

Riccardo Santeramo has a PhD in “Europe and the Atlantic World: Power, Culture and Society” (University of the Basque Country). He is currently a scientific technician at the Laboratory of Palynology and Archaeobotany of the Department of Earth, Environment and Life Sciences (DISTAV – http://www.distav.unige.it/), affiliated to the cir-LASA (Laboratory of Environmental Archaeology and History), of the University of Genoa. His research is focused on the study of landscape management dynamics, forest use strategies, rural communities and their relationships with socio-economic transformations at a local and regional scale, from the Middle Ages to the present.
