Nathan Brenu

Nathan Brenu holds a PhD from the University of Avignon and the University of Trento, with a thesis on the history of public contracts in the context of port works in France and Italy between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. For this research, he conducted archival studies in both countries and received multiple scholarships from the French School in Rome. During several recent stays in Italy, he developed an interest in industrial buildings, with particular attention to facilities developed in the southern regions with public support since the post-war period. Within the Antigone Project, he mainly focuses on oral source analysis and the analysis of conflict-related historical documentation, particularly for the case studies of Cerdanya and Sierra Nevada.
