Between the 9th and the 12th of September, Chiara Molinari attended the 7th biennial conference of the European Rural History Organisation (EURHO) at the University of Coimbra (Portugal), presenting the paper “Historical land-use dynamics in the eastern Ligurian Apennines, north-western Italy: a multidisciplinary approach”, together with Bruna Ilde Menozzi and Anna Maria Stagno. The paper integrates biostratigraphical information (from pollen, charcoal and NPPs), with data from archival and cartographic sources and archaeological investigations in order to characterise past changes in local agro-silvo-pastoral practices and define the socio-economic strategies connected to them.
